EN3B | EN32 | 080A15 Engineering steel

EN3B | EN32 | 080A15 is a general engineering medium carbon steel, suitable in applications where heavy stresses and heat treatment are not involved. High Peak Steels stock this in a range of sizes and shapes.

It is a bright drawn, or turned, mild steel with good machinability. Ideal for use in a variety of general engineering applications. EN3B | EN32 | 080A15 steel can be case hardened and is normally supplied in the as drawn condition. En3B steel has good tensile strength (typically around 500 MPa) when in the normalized condition, making it suitable for various engineering applications. Also referred to as EN32 steel, it has good weldability characteristics, however it has poor hardenability.
