What’s the right price to pay for your steel?

Many engineers will have seen steel come in from lower standard mills, with a great price – then they discover tool wear, surface degradation and longer machining has taken away all the savings they thought ‘cheaper prices’ would gain in profit!

Knowing your steel stockholder understands the supply chain, has done their due diligence on the imported steel, carried out testing ahead of supply gives confidence and avoids the complications that can be caused by buying ‘cheap steel’. This sacrifices quality quite literally at every turn.

Sacrifice Quality! Price! Service! Lead time! Then maybe you’ll get your stock at cheap prices! But is the saving really a true saving when you consider the above issues to be faced – we think not!
